We record a typical session using RME’s Fireface
800 linked via adat to a Presonus Digimax FS allowing us to record 20 tracks
at 24-Bit/192kHz simultaneously. Mixing is done using Cubase 4 and
a host of top-notch VST plug-ins including the Waves mercury collection which contains
some of the best EQ's and compressors on the market. We also use software
plug-ins by UAD who are renowned for their faithful emulation of classic and
vintage audio hardware. We use Mackie HR824 high resolution powered monitors for monitoring
playback and for mastering we use Steinberg Wavelab and the revolutionary Harbal
pro equalisation & mastering software. |
